Personalized Career Strategy Program for High School Students and their Parents

Rosie Watson and Dr. Tommy Carrington will be conducting this powerful career exploration workshop for students in NE Fort Worth area in North Texas.


For: All high school students and their parents

Format: Four group sessions

This program takes a proven approach to:

• Identifying high-potential career options that leverage your talents
• Identifying and leveraging a team of advisors for mentoring
• Investigating careers of interest beyond the typical surface analysis
• Choosing an educational strategy that positions you for the best job opportunities
• Differentiating yourself from the crowd
• Building a foundation for future success and satisfaction

Investment Justification: Nearly half (47 percent) of all full-time undergraduate college students attend a four-year college that has published charges of about $9,000 per year for tuition and fees. At the other end of the spectrum are private four-year colleges that cost $35,000 or more yearly in tuition and fees. At two-year colleges, the average cost for tuition and fees is $2,713.

Average Cost of tuition and fees for one course in a state or private college/university: $1,125 to $3,500 plus living expenses and consideration for lost income while in school. The average annual income of a graduate from vocational school or college/university is between $25,000 and $90,000. For each semester that a student extends their college/vocational education due to a lack of direction the "lost income" is between $12,500 and $45,000.

In 2002 he Founded the Urban Training Network, a ministry designed to train and equip students and adult leaders in evangelism, discipleship and principles of leadership. He focuses his time on developing emerging young leaders.
